London man facing charges
LONDON, ON (August 15, 2025) – A London man was arrested Wednesday morning by members of the LPS Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit in relation to possession of suspected child pornography.
In July of 2025, members of the London Police Service commenced an investigation after members of the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) made them aware of information involving a London man dating back to 2020 involving multiple online applications.
On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, a search warrant was executed at a residence on King Street.
A male suspect was arrested.
Electronic devices were seized. Evidence of suspected child pornography was located on the devices.
As a result of the investigation, Ryan Tew, 27, of London, has been charged with one count of unlawfully possess child pornography.
The accused remains in custody and is expected to appear in London court on September 18, 2025, in relation to the charge.
London Police Service is a member of the Provincial Strategy to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet. The Strategy has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
