TORONTO MAN FACING HUMAN TRAFFICKING-RELATED CHARGES
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (May 22, 2025) – A Toronto man is wanted on a number of human trafficking-related offences following an investigation by the London Police Service Human Trafficking Unit.

In July of 2024, a woman entered into a working agreement with a man in relation to money, lodging and protection. The woman was employed as a sex-trade worker, with the suspect male advertising the victims’ services online for money.

On one occasion in January 2025, while at a hotel in London in the 1100-block of Wellington Road, the victim woke and found the suspect male had left and stolen all her belongings including money and personal items.

The victim contacted police, and the investigation was assigned to the LPS Human Trafficking Unit.

As a result of the investigation, Andre Kyei, 40, of Toronto has been charged by way of warrant of arrest for the following offences, as his current whereabouts is unknown.

  • Material benefit from sexual services;
  • Advertising another person’s sexual services; and,
  • Theft under $5000.

Andre Kyei is described as male, Black, approximately 6’0”, 200 lbs, muscular build, with dark brown shoulder length hair in dreads with black facial hair and brown eyes. Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him. He is known to frequent the Toronto area.Image of the wanted man

If seen, members of the public are reminded to not approach him, and to call 9-1-1 immediately.
