TWO MEN FACING CHARGES IN RELATION TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public's assistance

LONDON, ON (February 28, 2026) – Two Greater Toronto Area (GTA) men have been charged in relation to an investigation by the London Police Service (LPS) Human Trafficking Unit, with the assistance of the Toronto Police Service (TPS). While investigators have arrested one man, they continue to search for a second.

In December of 2021, a woman entered into an arrangement with a man involving the exchange of money and sexual services.

In early 2024, an investigation commenced by members of the Toronto Police Service.

On February 6, 2026, members of the LPS responded to a residence in the east end of the city, resulting in the arrest of one of the two male suspects.

As a result of the investigation, Ian Junior Chambers, 39, of York, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

·       Seven (7) counts of assault;

·       Three (3) counts of financial/ material benefit/ trafficking person over 18;

·       Two (2) counts of trafficking in persons by exercising control, etc.;

·       Two (2) counts of procuring/exercising control; and

·       Two (2) counts of material benefit from sexual services.

With collaboration from the members of the Toronto Police Service, the investigation continued and a second suspect was identified.

As a result, Kelly Osifo, 36, of Mississauga, has been charged by way of warrant of arrest in relation to the following charges:

·       Five (5) counts of assault;

·       Two (2) counts of mischief under $5000;

·       Trafficking in persons by exercising control, etc.;

·       Financial/ material benefit/ trafficking person over 18; and

·       Uttering threats of death or bodily harm.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are releasing photographs of both accused in an effort to have them come forward to report.
