HIT-AND-RUN INVESTIGATION 
Suspect identified

UPDATE - LONDON, ON (March 27, 2026) - Members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section have identified the suspect and suspect vehicle.

Investigators would like to thank the public for their assistance and kindly ask that any photographs from prior publications of the suspect and suspect vehicle be removed

The investigation remains ongoing and more information will be provided as appropriate.

LONDON, ON (March 27, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service (LPS) Road Safety Section are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a hit-and-run investigation from last month in the north end of the city.

On Sunday, February 15, 2026, at approximately 6:50 p.m. police were called by the driver of a vehicle that was hit by another vehicle in the area of Highbury Avenue North and Huron Street.

Officers responded and learned the driver of the vehicle that was hit had been travelling on Highbury Avenue North when the suspect vehicle pulled out of a parking lot near Highbury Avenue North and Huron Street and struck his vehicle causing him to spin around.

The suspect vehicle did not remain at the scene of the accident after the collision occurred and the investigation was reassigned to the LPS Road Safety Section.

No injuries were reported.

Officers reviewed video surveillance and located images of the suspect and suspect vehicle and are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying them.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 5’9, medium build, black hair and dark eyes. He was wearing a red winter jacket, brown sweater, black pants and brown shoes at the time of the collision.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model white Hyundai Tucson and may have damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle.

Photos of both the suspect driver and vehicle have been included in hopes it will assist in identifying them.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have information, can identify the suspect or suspect vehicle and who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance from Sunday, February 15, 2026, between 6:30 and 7 p.m. that may assist with the investigation to call police.

The investigation remains ongoing.
