HIT AND RUN INVESTIGATION
Victim remains in hospital

LONDON, ON (March 27, 2023) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating a hit and run that took place early this morning in the east end of the city.

On Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 3:20 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the area of Churchill Street and Clarke Road in relation to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

Upon police arrival, a male was located with serious injuries and was transported to hospital by paramedic services.

The motor vehicle involved in the collision did not remain on scene.

At approximately 4 a.m., the driver of the involved vehicle returned to the scene.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of our Traffic Management Unit, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
