HIT-AND-RUN INVESTIGATION
London man charged 

LONDON, ON (December 9, 2023) – A London man is facing charges in relation to a hit-and-run yesterday evening in the north end of the city. 

At approximately 9:15 p.m., on December 8, 2023, police responded to a hit-and-run collision involving pedestrians that took place earlier in the evening at the intersection of Sarnia Road and Wonderland Road North. 

Two women sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. 

Investigators located the driver of the involved vehicle. 

The incident was investigated, and involved parties were interviewed, including an independent witness. 

At this time, there is nothing to suggest that the motor vehicle collision was hate-motivated. 

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old London man, has been charged with the following Highway Traffic Act offences: 

  • Fail to remain at scene of accident; and
  • Fail to yield to pedestrian in roadway.

The investigation is ongoing.
