HATE-RELATED PROPERTY DAMAGE INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (September 19, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to an ongoing property damage investigation.

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, shortly after 7 p.m., police responded to Fanshawe Park Road, just west of Wonderland Road in relation to graffiti-style property damage that was reported at that location.

The damage consisted of multiple hate-related words and statements directed toward women, spray-painted on an overpass, sidewalk, and railing.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of our Hate Crime Unit.

At this time, we are actively investigating and are appealing to members of the public to please contact us if they have any information that could assist us with this investigation.

We understand that hate-motivated criminal acts can cause significant concern and unrest within the community. This incident is an act of gender-based violence that has no place anywhere in our society. The London Police Service remains unwavering in our dedication to ensure that London is a safe place for women and girls. There is no place for hate in London, and we are committed to working with community leaders to eradicate it. We are devoted to conducting thorough investigations and ensuring the safety of the public and all our communities.
