London man arrested
UPDATE #2 - LONDON, ON (June 6, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service have arrested previously wanted man Joseph Coddington, 34, of London, after he turned himself in this week.
The accused is scheduled to appear in London court on July 14, 2025, in relation to the charges.

UPDATE - LONDON, ON (June 3, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division have identified the suspect and laid charges in relation to last weeks hate-motivated investigation.
Joseph Howard Coddington, 34, of London, has been identified as the suspect and charged by way of warrant of arrest as his current whereabouts are unknown.
He has been charged with:
- Assault; and,
- Uttering threats/property damage.
Investigators continue to seek the public’s assistance with locating Joseph Coddington.
He is described as male, White, approximately 5’8”, 150lbs, with short brown and blonde hair, scruffy facial hair and brown eyes.
If seen, police are asking the public to call 9-1-1 and to not approach him.
The investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of the LPS Hate Crime Unit.

LONDON, ON (May 31, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a hate-motivated assault and threats investigation in the east end of the city.
On May 29, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 8:20 a.m., an elderly woman was outside her residence in the area of Marconi Boulevard and Trafalgar Street when an unknown man approached her and began yelling at her.
The man threatened to set her house on fire and attempted to spit on her. The man left walking southbound on Marconi Boulevard.
Based on the nature of the comments made, the incident has been deemed hate-motivated.
There were no reported injuries.
The LPS Hate Crime Unit is actively investigating this incident.
The man is described as a male, White, approximately 5’8”, with a slim build. He is believed to be between 27 – 32 years of age. He was wearing a grey ballcap, work boots with red laces, and a yellow and black hoodie with “LOONEY” written across the chest in red. Photos of the suspect have been attached.
Investigators are asking anyone who may recognize the man or who have dash-cam, doorbell or security footage of the suspect, to please contact police.
