LONDON, ON (August 29, 2025) – Charges have been laid after a firearms investigation in the downtown core earlier this month.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division received information that a person at a residence in the area of Ridout Street North and Fullarton Street was in possession of firearms being stored in a careless manner.

With the assistance of the LPS Guns and Gangs Section a search warrant was executed at the residence.

A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 22 rifles and five boxes of ammunition.

As a result of the investigation, Gabriel Drake, 24, of London, has been charged with five (5) counts of carless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.

The accused is scheduled to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
