SERIOUS COLLISION INVOLVING PEDESTRIAN

Investigation ongoing

LONDON, ON (March 17, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

Last night, at approximately 10:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to the area of Wharncliffe Road and Elmwood Avenue in relation to a serious motor vehicle collision.

A male pedestrian was transported to hospital by paramedic services with life-threatening injuries.

All involved persons remained at the scene.

Wharncliffe Road was closed for a period of time while officers investigated.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of the Traffic Management Unit and is ongoing.
