BOMB THREAT
Investigation ongoing 

UPDATE – LONDON, ON (October 23, 2023) – A thorough search of both the inside and outside of the building has been completed by members of the LPS Canine Unit. Nothing suspicious was located.

The investigation into the source of the threat is ongoing.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (October 23, 2023) – Shortly after 1 p.m., this afternoon, members of the London Police Service were notified of a bomb threat at a school in the west end of the city.

The school was placed in a lockdown.

Officers attended the school on Springbank Drive, and conducted a preliminary check of the building which has not revealed anything suspicious at this time. The school is currently in a hold and secure.

A thorough search is underway.

We are asking members of the public to avoid the area.

The investigation, including examination into the source of the threat, is in its early stages, and more information will be provided when available. 

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
