Becher Street Fire

BECHER STREET FIRE
Investigation ongoing

 Update #1: Emergency services located a body of a deceased person within the residence and the investigation is continuing by the Ontario Fire Marshall assisted by the Major Crime division of the London Police Service.  Estimated damage amount of the residence believed to be $1,500,000.  

LONDON, ON (March 10, 2024) – On Saturday, March 9, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a working fire at a residence in the area of Becher Street and Wharncliffe Road.

The London Fire Department attended to extinguish the fire.

Becher Street is currently closed between Horn Street and The Ridgeway.
