ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (October 25, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a male and female suspect after responding to an assault with a weapon investigation earlier this week.

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at approximately 4:25 p.m. a man and woman entered a business in the area of Oxford Street East and Highbury Avenue North. Once inside the business, the man and woman who were known to each other, engaged in a conversation before being approached by a suspect male.

The three became involved in a verbal altercation.

The suspect male and female left the store together and entered a parked vehicle in the parking lot.

A short time later the man exited the store, and the suspect male approached the man while covering his face with a black ski mask and hoody style sweatshirt before spraying the victim with pepper spray.

The suspect male returned to the vehicle and fled the area with the suspect female.

The victim sustained minor physical injuries not requiring medical attention.

Police were called and a description of the vehicle and suspects were provided.

Officers reviewed video surveillance from the area and identified both the male and female suspects.

Police learned the vehicle operated by the suspects had been previously reported stolen to police on October 23, 2024.

Attempts to locate the vehicle and suspects were unsuccessful.

As a result of the investigation, Corey Brian Zazvorka, 35, and Rai-Lynn Robbins, 20, both of London have been charged by way of warrant of arrest as their current whereabouts are unknown.

Corey Brian Zazvorka and Rai-Lynn Robbins have been jointly charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.

Additionally, Corey Brian Zazvorka has been charged with the following offences:

  • Assault with a weapon;
  • Disguise with intent;
  • Fail to comply with a release order; and,
  • Four (4) counts of operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited.

Police are releasing images of the suspects in hopes the public can assist with locating both Corey and Rai-Lynn.Image of wanted male and female

Corey Brian Zazvorka is described as male, White, approximately 5’8”, 161 lbs, slim build, with short brown hair, brown facial hair and blue eyes.

Rai-Lynn Robbins is described as female, White, approximately 5’7”, 110 lbs, thin build with shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes.

If seen, members of the public are reminded not to approach them, and to call 9-1-1 immediately.
