ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (December 17, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in relation to an assault investigation last month.

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m. a woman and man driving in the area of Brydges and Hale streets observed a suspicious vehicle following them.

As the woman and man approached the area of Brydges and Cornish streets, they observed the driver of the suspect vehicle attempting to stop them in the roadway.

The woman brought her vehicle to a stop. Two males exited the suspect vehicle and approached the passenger side of her vehicle.

The man in the passenger seat exited the car and was assaulted by both suspects.

The woman called 9-1-1 at which point both suspects returned to their vehicle and fled the area.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by the woman.

The victim has since been released from hospital.

The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Street Crime Unit who are appealing to the public to assist in identifying the suspects.

One suspect is described as male, White, approximately 6’2” to 6’4”, 30 to 35 years old, very skinny with dirty blonde hair and wearing a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as male, White, approximately 6’0”, 30 to 35 years old, with dark brown or black hair and also wearing a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The suspect vehicle is described as red a SUV.

Investigators are asking any member of the public that may have information in relation to this investigation or who may have been in the area of Brydges and Hale streets, Brydges and Cornish streets and Cornish Street and Cronyn Crescent between 5:50 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.

The investigation remains ongoing.
