ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance
LONDON, ON (September 20, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault in the downtown core last weekend.
On Sunday, September 15, 2024, at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the area of Richmond and Mill streets in relation to a report of an assault. A male suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival.
An adult male victim was transported to hospital by paramedic services with minor injuries.
Police were provided a description of the suspect male, and the area was searched with negative results.
Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man in the attached photo.
He is described as male, White, approximately 20 – 25 years of age, between 5’7” – 5”9”, with a slim build. He was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, yellow shoes, and a white and tan ball cap with a logo on the front.
Police are asking anyone that may have been in the area of Richmond and Mill streets on Sunday, September 15, 2024, between 1:45 – 2:30 a.m., who might have witnessed this event or be able to identify this suspect ,to call the London Police Service.
