ARSON INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (February 3, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are investigating an arson that took place late last week in the city’s east end.

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to the area of Oxford Street East and Second Street for a business on fire.

Members of the London Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.

There were no reported injuries.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance and asking anyone that may have been in the area of Oxford Street East and Second Street between 2 a.m. to 2:45 a.m., who may have information in relation to the investigation or who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, to contact the London Police Service.

The damage is estimated to be approximately $100, 000.

The investigation remains ongoing.
