ARSON INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (April 26, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance with an arson investigation from February of this year.

On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at approximately 4:20 p.m., members of the London Police Service responded to a fire outside of a shopping centre in the area of Richmond Street and Fanshawe Park Road East in the north end of the city.

When officers arrived, the fire had been extinguished by the London Fire Department.

The investigation was re-assigned to the LPS Street Crime Unit.

Investigators reviewed video surveillance and learned four suspect males were involved however were not able to identify them.

The first suspect is described as male, Middle Eastern, 18-25 years old, medium build, approximately 5’9” to 6’2”, wearing black pants, a grey top with a black winter toque covering the ears with headphone over top of the toque.

The second suspect is described as male, Middle Eastern, 18-25 years old, medium build, approximately 5’9” to 6’2”, wearing black pants, black top with a red logo on it, dark green jacket with oversized hood, black hair and wearing glasses.

The third suspect is described as male, White or Middle Eastern, 18-25 years old, medium build, approximately 5’9” to 6’2”, wearing white shoes, blue jeans, black t-shirt with a black zip-up sweater, white baseball hat with Nike logo on the front, carrying a black coat and green coloured backpack.

The fourth suspect is described as male, White or Middle Eastern, 18-25 years old, medium build, approximately 5’9” to 6’2”, wearing dark coloured pants, a black hoodie with an oversized black puffy coat, with short brown hair and a large chain.

Investigators are asking anyone that may have witnessed this event, been in the area at that time or may know who these men are to call the London Police Service.
