Seeking the public’s assistance
LONDON, ON (April 1, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a fire in the city’s east end last week.
On Thursday, March 27, at approximately 4:35 a.m., emergency crews responded to a fire at a motel in the area of Dundas and Calgary streets.
The London Fire Department extinguished the fire and there were no reported injuries.
Investigators from the LPS Street Crime Unit reviewed video surveillance and observed a suspect, walking north on Calgary Street towards Dundas Street, shortly after 4:35 a.m.
The suspect is described as wearing light-coloured pants, and a dark-coloured coat with the hood up.
Investigators are asking any member of the public that may have been in the area of Dundas and Calgary streets between 4 – 5 a.m., who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance that could assist with the investigation, or anyone that may have knowledge of this investigation, to contact the London Police Service.
The investigation remains ongoing.
