ARSON INVESTIGATION
Seeking the public's assistance
UPDATE #2 - LONDON, ON (September 27, 2024) - Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit continue to seek the public's assistance with identifying a suspect in the arson investigation from earlier this month.
Photos of the suspect have been obtained and are being included in hopes the public can help to identify the male.
Investigators continue to appeal to members of the public who were in the 700-block of Dundas Street between 10:20 – 11 a.m., on Thursday, September 5, 2024, who may have dash-cam footage, video surveillance, or any information at all in relation to the suspect male, are asked to call the London Police Service.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.

UPDATE – LONDON, ON (September 18, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit continue to investigate an arson that took place earlier this month.
A description of a suspect has been obtained, as follows:
- Male, White, between 20 – 40 years of age, thin build, wearing a black hoodie with a white logo on the front, black pants, dark running shoes and a black and white baseball cap. He is described as having a tattoo (possibly a cross) on the back of his neck behind his right ear.
Members of the public who were in the 700-block of Dundas Street between 10:20 – 11 a.m., on Thursday, September 5, 2024, who may have dash-cam footage, video surveillance, or any information at all in relation to the suspect male, are asked to call the London Police Service.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (September 6, 2024) – Members of the London Police Service Street Crime Unit are investigating an arson that took place yesterday morning.
On Thursday, September 5, 2024, at approximately 10:40 a.m., emergency crews responded to the 700-block of Dundas Street in relation to a structure fire at an abandoned multi-dwelling building.
Members of the London Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.
There were no reported injuries.
The damage estimate is approximately $800,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
