London man facing charges
LONDON, ON (February 9, 2025) – A London man was arrested yesterday morning after members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division responded to a running unoccupied vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a collision in the south end of the city.
On Saturday, February 8, 2025, at approximately 3:20 a.m., a citizen called 911 in relation to a single vehicle collision in the area of Colonel Talbot Road near Clayton Walk. Police were advised what appeared to be blood had been located on the driver’s side door and leading away from the vehicle.
Officers arrived and located the vehicle. The driver was located and arrested a short distance away at a nearby address.
One of the passengers was transported by paramedic services to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Cameron Allen, 20, of London, is charged with the following offences:
- Impaired operation of a conveyance;
- Impaired operation exceed blood alcohol concentration;
- Fail to remain;
- Fail to report accident; and,
- Novice driver- blood alcohol concentration above zero.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in London court on March 6, 2025, in relation to the charges.
