2022 LPS CANINE CALENDAR
All profits go to the Easter Seals Camp Woodeden
LONDON, ON (November 23, 2021) – The London Police Service Canine Unit is proud to announce the launch of sales for the 2022 LPS Canine Calendar, in celebration of their upcoming 50th anniversary.
The 12-month calendar boasts our current Canine team, and their furry colleagues, along with photos and a historical snapshot from our proud past.
The LPS Canine Unit was introduced in February of 1972, and began patrol in July of that same year. Over time, the Canine team has grown to a complement of eight dogs and eight handlers, responding to various calls including assisting in missing person investigations, searching for suspects involved in criminal activity, sniffing out drugs, and locating explosives.
The LPS Canine team is thrilled to launch calendar sales just in time for the holiday season. Don’t miss the chance to get your hands on one of these calendars to share with your friends and family.
The calendars are $10 each, with all profits going to the Easter Seals Camp Woodeden for kids.
The calendars can be purchased at Police Headquarters, 601 Dundas St., Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (cash or debit only).
A special ‘pop up’ calendar sale will be taking place at Remark Fresh Markets, 1190 Oxford Street West, on Saturday, November 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., so come out and get your calendars directly from our Canine team!
Watch LPS social media for other ‘pop up’ sales throughout the month of December.
