To be considered, your application package must contain ALL of the items listed below within a single PDF file. All elements of your application must be legible on a computer screen.

By Mail or in Person

To be considered, your mailed submission must contain all of the items listed below within a single package.

Steps

  1. View our Constable/Cadet Application Checklist (for your own reference purposes)
  2. Complete London Police Service application form, waiver & Voluntary Survey
  3. Cover letter addressed to: London Police Service, Human Resources Branch, 601 Dundas Street, London, Ontario, N6B 1X1
  4. Resume
  5. A character reference letter from someone who IS NOT A FAMILY MEMBER and can speak about your honesty and integrity
  6. A scanned copy of all transcripts and diplomas (secondary and post-secondary)
  7. A scanned copy of a current Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police Certificate (OACP).  Including fitness logs, vision/hearing and OACP waiver. 
  8. A scanned copy of Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certificate
  9. A scanned copy of driver's licence, birth certificate or Canadian Citizenship
  10. A scanned copy of any other relevant certificates
