Requirements

To be eligible to apply for the cadet position you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Have at least a valid G driver's licence with a good driving record; maximum of six demerit points
• Have successfully completed four years of secondary school education or equivalent
• Be able to meet the physical demands of police duty
• Have been granted or issued a pardon if convicted of a crime under a federal statute
• Possess current certification in CPR and First Aid
