WEAPONS INVESTIGATION 
London teen arrested

LONDON, ON (November 24, 2025) – A London teen has been charged after members of the London Police Service responded to a weapons call late last week in the city’s north end.

On Friday, November 21, 2025, at approximately 9:35 p.m., an employee at a business in the area of North Centre Road and Fanshawe Park Road East asked a group of teenagers to leave the business as they were disturbing customers.

One of the youths, a teenaged boy, began to argue with the employee before assaulting him and threatening him with a knife.  When a second employee intervened, the teen threw a water bottle at him before fleeing the area on foot.

Police were called and provided a description of the suspect.

Officers located and arrested the youth a short distance away.

No injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old male, of London, who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with the following offences:

·       Two (2) counts of assault with a weapon;

·       Assault; and,

·       Disobeying order of the court.

The accused is scheduled to reappear today in London court in relation to the charges.

The investigation remains ongoing.
