WEAPONS INVESTIGATION

LONDON, ON (October 22, 2025) – One person is in hospital after members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division responded to a weapons call early this morning.

Shortly after 5 a.m., this morning, police received a 9-1-1 call in relation to a person in distress in the area of Oxford Street West and Wharncliffe Road North.

Officers arrived and located an adult male with apparent stab wounds.

The victim was transported to hospital by paramedic services with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the London Police Service Patrol Operations Investigative Section.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area between 4:50 - 5:15 a.m., that may have dash-cam, residential or business surveillance footage that may assist with the investigation to contact the London Police Service.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.
