Toronto man arrested
LONDON, ON (December 16, 2025) – A Toronto man is facing charges in relation to a threats investigation at King’s University College.
On Sunday, December 14, 2025, between 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., while sitting in a common area with a number of residents from the same building on Epworth Avenue, a suspect male compiled a list of adult male names. The suspect mentioned to at least one of the nearby residents that the list referenced individuals that he wished to kill.
While seated in the common lounge, the suspect also uttered death threats toward two individuals named on the list. The two victims reported the threats to a staff member at the school.
On Monday, December 15, 2025, police were contacted and commenced an investigation.
There were no reported injuries.
Police arrested the suspect male yesterday afternoon.
As a result of the investigation, Safeeullah Aslami, 19, of Toronto, has been charged with three counts of uttering threats of death or bodily harm.
The accused and victims were known to each other.
The accused remains in custody and is expected to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
