SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE FIRE
Investigation ongoing 

LONDON, ON (December 9, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Patrol Operations Investigative Section are investigating a suspicious fire that took place overnight in the east end of the city. 

On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a vehicle on fire on Scanlon Street.

Members of the London Fire Department extinguished the fire. 

There were no reported injuries. 

The damage is estimated at approximately $60,000.

Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who may have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance footage which may assist with the investigation, is asked to call the London Police Service.

The investigation is ongoing.
