STABBING INVESTIGATION
UPDATE – LONDON, ON (October 14, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Major Crime Section have laid charges in relation to a stabbing that took place on Friday.
The 53-year-old male victim remains in hospital in fair condition.
As a result of the investigation, Angelo Fredrico Punancy, 32, of London, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.
It does not appear that the victim and the accused were previously known to each other.
Investigators continue to appeal to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident, or who may have been in the area of Dundas Street and Clarke Road on October 10, 2025, around 6:00 p.m., and have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance, to please contact the London Police Service.
The accused remains in custody and is expected to appear in London court tomorrow in relation to the charge.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (October 10, 2025) – On October 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. members from the London Police Service (LPS) attended a parking lot in the area of Dundas Street and Clarke Road for an assault in progress call for service. Officers located a 53-year-old male suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital with critical injuries. A 32-year-old male has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.
The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Major Crime Section.
