WOMAN SUFFERS INJURY 
Special Investigations Unit investigating 

LONDON, ON (December 29, 2025) – The Special Investigations Unit is investigating after a woman was injured following an apprehension late last week. 

On Friday, December 26, 2025, shortly before 11 p.m., members of the London Police Service (LPS) responded to a residence on Chiddington Avenue in relation to a person in crisis. 

A woman was apprehended pursuant to the officers' authority under the Mental Health Act.  During the subsequent interaction with police, the female sustained a serious, non-life-threatening injury and was transported to hospital by paramedic services.
