Three men in hospital with gunshot wounds
LONDON, ON (October 20, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service (LPS) Major Crime Section are investigating after three males suffered gunshot wounds early yesterday morning.
On October 19, 2025, at approximately 5:45 a.m., emergency crews responded to a home in the 700-block of Adelaide Street North in relation to a man who had reportedly been shot. Upon arrival, officers located and provided emergency first aid to the injured man. He was transported to hospital by paramedic services with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly thereafter, at around 5:50 a.m., hospital staff notified the police that two adult males had arrived at the emergency room with gunshot wounds. One individual sustained critical injuries, while the other sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. It was determined that the two men had been dropped off at the hospital by separate vehicles.
Of the three injured males, two are residents of London and one is from Oshawa. Investigators believe all three were wounded in a single incident, which is thought to have occurred in the area of Adelaide Street North and Piccadilly Street.
A person, or persons of interest fled from the area in a vehicle. Police pursued the suspect vehicle from the location of the reported shooting to the area of Boullee Street and Cheapside Street. The vehicle was located and recovered by police, however; it was empty at the time. The area was searched by officers with negative results, and the occupant(s) of the vehicle are outstanding. Investigators are asking members of the public who may have information, or residential, business or dash-cam video between the hours of 6 – 6:30 a.m. in this area, to contact police.
Additionally, we are appealing to anyone who may have information or who may have been in the area of Adelaide Street North and Picadilly Street or the area of Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road between 5:20 – 6 a.m., on October 19, 2025, and have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance, to please contact the London Police Service.
The investigation has been reassigned to members of the LPS Major Crime Section and is in its early stages. More information will be shared as appropriate.
