SERIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION
Investigation ongoing 

LONDON, ON (March 10, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division and Road Safety Section are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that took place yesterday near the city’s downtown core.

On Monday, March 9, 2026, at approximately 5:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the area of Wharncliffe Road North and Oxford Street West.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital by paramedic services with life-threatening injuries.

The involved driver remained on scene.

The investigation has been reassigned to members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section and is ongoing.  

Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 5 – 5:30 p.m., and may have witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage, to please contact us.
