LOADED GUN, DRUGS AND CASH SEIZED
London man in custody

LONDON, ON (December 5, 2025) – A London man is facing charges after a drug investigation in the west end of the city.

On Friday, December 5, 2025, members of the London Police Service (LPS) Guns and Gangs Section along with the assistance from members of the LPS Emergency Response Unit (ERU) and LPS Canine Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Commissioners Road West and Stephen Street.

The search of the residence led to the following items being seized:

·       Glock 45 9mm handgun;

·       30 round magazine with 30 rounds of 9mm ammunition inside;

·       17 round magazine with 17 rounds of 9mm ammunition inside;

·       340 grams of cocaine;

·       56 grams of fentanyl;

·       112 Teva-Oxycocet (oxycodone) pills;

·       28 grams of cutting agent; and,

·       $5000 of Canadian currency.

As a result of the investigation, Abdul Rahman Sharif, 19, of London, has been charged with the following offences:

·       Four (4) counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order;

·       Three (3) counts of careless storage or firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition;

·       Possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a license and registration certificate;

·       Possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon or prohibited device knowing no authority unauthorized;

·       Possess loaded/unloaded regulated firearm;

·       Three (3) counts of fail to comply with sentence; and,

·       Three (3) counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
