Man dies as a result of overnight stabbing

LONDON, ON (January 13, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service (LPS) Major Crime Section are investigating a stabbing that took place late last night in the downtown core.

On Monday, January 12, 2026, at approximately 10:35 p.m., police responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls in relation to a stabbing in the 700-block of Dundas Street.

Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male in a hallway of an apartment building.

Officers initiated life-saving efforts until paramedic services arrived. The victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since died.

The investigation is in its early stages and is ongoing. More information will be provided as appropriate.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who was in the 700-block of Dundas Street between 10:15 – 10:45 p.m. last night who may have information, including dash-cam footage, cellphone video, or residential/business surveillance footage, to please contact the London Police Service.
