Suspect arrested in York Region
UPDATE # 2 – LONDON, ON (October 7, 2025) – Today, members of the York Regional Police (YRP) announced that they have laid charges in relation to an August 18, 2025, shooting on Foxridge Crescent where investigators determined 33 shots were fired at a residence. Collaboration and evidence sharing between the London Police Service (LPS) and YRP contributed to this successful outcome.
YRP investigators have charged Kaejean Isaiah Doman, 23, of Innisfil, with the following charges in relation to seven separate incidents in the cities of Vaughan, Brampton, and London.
- Discharge firearm with intent;
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon;
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device;
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm;
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle;
- Dangerous operation of a vehicle;
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000;
- Flight from peace officer:
- Six counts of discharge firearm – recklessness; and
- Six counts of possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition.

The accused has remained in custody since he was arrested by the YRP on September 10, 2025.
“This incident was a terrible act of violence in our community, but thankfully no one was injured,” said Detective Sergeant Jon Meinen of the London Police Service (LPS) Guns and Gangs Section. “The newly announced charges reflect the ongoing communication and collaboration that we have with our partner agencies. These charges are a stark reminder that while individuals engaged in illegal activities do not recognize borders, our policing partnerships hold offenders to account regardless of where they are caught."
Both the LPS and YRP investigators continue to appeal to anyone who may have information in relation to this incident, the accused, or who may have been in the area of Foxridge Crescent and Tokala Trail between 3:20 – 3:55 a.m., on August 18, 2025, and have dash-cam, residential or business video surveillance, to please contact police.

UPDATE # 1 – LONDON, ON (September 10, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service continue to investigate a shooting that took place on August 18, 2025, on Foxridge Crescent.
Investigators have determined that 33 shots were fired, and the occupants of the residence were not the intended targets of the shooting.
A suspect vehicle has been identified. A stock image of a similar vehicle, as well as surveillance footage of the shooting have been added to our website in hopes that members of the public can assist us in identifying both the vehicle and suspect.
The suspect vehicle is described as a 2021 or newer Acura TLX, Type S, black in colour.

ORIGINAL – LONDON, ON (August 18, 2025) – The London Police Service (LPS) is seeking the public’s assistance after members of the LPS Uniformed Division responded to a shooting in the north end of the city overnight.
Between 3:30 – 3:50 a.m., on August 18, 2025, police received multiple reports of suspicious noise on Foxridge Crescent.
Upon arrival, officers located gunshot-related damage to both a residence and vehicle.
There were no reported injuries.
The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Guns and Gangs Section.
A suspect, possibly male, was observed exiting a black sedan, firing multiple rounds at a residence, and leaving southbound from the area in the same vehicle.
