Corporate Services Division

The Corporate Services Division takes care of the business side of policing. We are team of civilian and sworn members providing highly specialized services in support of front line operations, including research and strategic planning, training and professional development, business intelligence, and risk management.

• Civilian analysts and Specialists in the Business Analytics Unit leverage data to help senior leaders throughout the organization make evidence-based decisions with respect to deployment and service delivery. 

• Sworn members in the Academic and Practical Skills Training Units deliver top-quality instruction in de-escalation techniques, high-risk vehicle stops, use of force, and other training mandated by legislation. 

• Civilian analysts in the Planning and Research Unit serve, in some respects, as the eyes and ears of the organization, scanning the external environment for the information and data necessary to support the development of strategic plans and new procedures. 
• Members of the Risk Management and Quality Assurance Unit develop procedural controls, administer QA initiatives, and implement other risk management strategies to help support business continuity.
