SUSPICIOUS FIRE INVESTIGATION
LONDON, ON (July 18, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating a suspicious fire that took place overnight in the downtown core.
On Friday, July 18, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a residential fire in the 900-block of Dufferin Avenue.
Members of the London Fire Department extinguished the fire.
Neighboring residences were evacuated as a precaution.

BOMB THREAT
Investigation ongoing
LONDON, ON (July 18, 2025) – Shortly after 10 a.m., this morning, members of the London Police Service were notified of a bomb threat at a school in the north-east end of the city.
Officers attended Fanshawe College and completed a thorough search of the campus. Nothing suspicious was located.
The Fanshawe College campus remains open to the public.
The investigation into the source of the threat remains ongoing and more information will be provided when available.
