SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION

One adult male facing charges

LONDON, ON (April 26, 2022) – In April of 2022, members of the London Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section laid charges in relation to an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

As a result of this investigation, Trevor Birtch, 47, of Woodstock, is charged with three counts of sexual assault.

Results in pedestrian fatality

UPDATE # 2 - LONDON, ON (April 26, 2022) – Members of the London Police Traffic Management Unit continue to investigate the fatal hit and run collision that took place on April 23, 2022.

The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Thou Roeun, of London.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no further update available at this time.

WEAPONS INVESTIGATION

Seeking the public’s assistance

LONDON, ON (April 19, 2022) – On Saturday April 16, 2022, at approximately 11:00 p.m., police received a 9-1-1 call reporting gunshots in a townhouse complex located at 253 Taylor Street. Upon arrival, police located several shell casings and some minor damage to property. Preliminary information indicated that a black vehicle had been involved. There were no reported injuries and police do not believe that this was a random incident.
