LONDON MAN FACING HUMAN TRAFFICKING-RELATED CHARGES
LONDON, ON (November 12, 2025) – A London man is facing charges following an investigation by the London Police Service (LPS) Human Trafficking Unit.
On Thursday, October 30, 2025, a woman employed as a sex-trade worker, advertised services online, and a suspect male arranged to meet her at a south-end hotel.
The two agreed on the services being provided, and the suspect attended the hotel and paid the woman.
The suspect sexually assaulted and robbed the woman. He fled from the room, and the victim called 9-1-1.
Members of the LPS Uniformed Division attended and entered into an investigation.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
The investigation was reassigned to members of the LPS Human Trafficking Unit.
The suspect was identified and arrested on November 6, 2025.
As a result of the investigation, Herbert Orozco, 47, of London, has been charged with the following offences:
· Robbery with violence or threats;
· Sexual assault; and
· Obtain sexual services for consideration.
The accused was released from custody on an undertaking and is expected to appear in London court on December 17, 2025.
