ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON INVESTIGATION 
London man charged

LONDON, ON (October 27, 2025) – A London man has been arrested after members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division responded to a weapons call late last week.

On Friday, October 24, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m. a man and woman in the area of Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road saw another man known to them.

The man attempted to speak with the two of them when the suspect male who was with the woman, brandished a knife and pointed it at the man before fleeing the area on foot.

Several people in the area who witnessed the event called police.

Officers responded and located and arrested the suspect still in the area.

A search of the suspect yielded a knife.

No injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, Cody Chasson, 24, of London has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to reappear in London court on October 28, 2025.
