Seeking the public’s assistance 

LONDON, ON (May 25, 2022) – Members of the LPS Major Crime Section are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a weapons investigation over the weekend.

On Monday, May 23, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting that someone had fired a gun in the 100-block of Carling Street.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence that a gun had been fired. There were no reported injuries, and no damage...

London Police Investigating 

LONDON, ON (May 18, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating graffiti-style property damage located on street signs and a fence in the north-west end of the city. 

Police were notified of damage early this morning.  

The damage consisted of hate-related symbols and images spray painted on the signs and fencing on Hawthorne Road, as well as at a nearby park.

SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

LONDON, ON (May 18, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating a shooting that took place overnight. 

At approximately 1:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a residence on Ladybrook Crescent in relation to a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  

The adult male was transported to hospital with a critical injury. 

The investigation is in the preliminary stages.

LONDON, ON (May 17, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service are investigating an incident of graffiti-style property damage located at a north-end park this morning. 

Police were notified of damage to a structure in the 800-block of South Wenige Drive earlier today.
